United Church of Christ East Goshen will be making up for time lost to COVID and celebrating “Christmas in July” on July 25th! Our young people will be taking part in an in-person, indoor service with a special Christmas theme and then we will share in an outdoor Christmas in July Community Picnic and Party in the beautiful grounds of our church! BYO Blankets and beach chairs!
We will be having several events to raise much needed funds for our church, aiming to make at least $1500! There will be an in-person Christmas Cookie Auction, an online Christmas Promises Auction which will be launched on the day and much more!
WE NEED YOUR HELP! What can you offer to our community that has great value but doesn’t take up much space? How about a few hours to help a friend decorate their home in December? Or making a Christmas table decoration or wreath for the front door? Make your promise and share your talent and creativity or time and energy with our community! You do not need to have a ‘finished product’ – but you are promising to have one by Christmas! The link to the Sign Up Genius for Christmas Promise Ideas can be found HERE. You can make suggestions but are not currently committing yourself to taking part!
We also need participants to take part in our Christmas Cookie Auction! Who needs an excuse to make (and taste test of course!) Christmas Cookies in July? This is your chance! The link to sign up to bring 2 dozen Christmas Cookies, beautifully presented and ready to be sold to the highest bidder can be found HERE. By signing up, you are committing to take part but you do not yet have to specify your cookie type!
