It is with a great deal of joy and excitement that I announce, due to the dedicated effort of our Transition Team, UCCEG has reached an agreement with Rev. Jocelyn Ann Emerson to become our Interim Pastor.
Pastor Jocelyn will assume her duties by March 1, 2022, and she's nearly as excited to start her new job as we are to have her join our church family. She comes to us as a pastor dedicated to the role of an Interim, and has had experience with small, family churches with similar strengths and weaknesses as UCCEG.
In the coming weeks we will be posting more information about Pastor Jocelyn so that we can all get more acquainted with her before her arrival in East Goshen. We are also hopeful of having some virtual fellowship opportunities with her so she can get to know us a bit before March 1.
Thanks to our Transition Team -- Ann Boohar, Leslie Siebert, and Scott Burkhart -- for putting in the hours of hard work to make this happen! God Bless us all as we take this first step in reconfiguring UCCEG on the road to God's plan!
